Traffic stop in Tracy lead to two arrests

In response to vehicle code violation, the Tracy Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the afternoon of September 8. In the vehicle, he found a loaded firearm belonging to 20-year-old Tracy resident Angel Ascencio.
The driver of the vehicle, Alber Grajeda, a 29-year-old from Pleasanton, California, was found to be on searchable probation and had multiple warrants out for his arrest.
Tracy PD also found altered checks and counterfeit currency in the vehicle, belonging to 30-year-old Eleni Campos.
As a result, Ascencio and Grajeda were both arrested, and Campos was issued a citation for the illegal items in his possession.
